Interstate 5 northbound at milepost 242 north of Albany is now open after a commercial vehicle fire Wednesday morning, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation. Smoke from the fire caused poor visibility in southbound lanes on I-5. Drivers should expect slowdowns as traffic catches up, ODOT said.
