A Second Place win in the Pro Finals of the 2023 Sand Drag Race Series on Sunday pushed local racer Gary "G" Armstrong up from fourth place in the Pro Championship standings to the third spot. Armstrong also won Third and Fourth Place in Sport Light races at Rounds five & six of the series that took place at Albany Sand Drags track in Albany, Oregon over the weekend. Rounds seven and eight of the series take place Labor Day Weekend. Armstrong's sponsors include Florence Motorsports, Siuslaw Signs & Graphics/The Shippin' Shack, Voyez Racing & Fabrication, MotoOption Clothing, Oneal Racing and Alba Racing products.
